چکیده

A biosensor based on the release of enzyme substrate from its structure was developed for inhibitive detection benzoic acid. polyurethane support comprising two perforated microcapsules (800 ?m in diameter) filled with methylene blue as a model compound and covered conductive deposit multiwalled carbon nanotubes, continuously released this stored dye 24 h. An increase concentration 0.5–0.75 ?mol L-1 h-1 1.5–2 h-1, presence absence nanotube coating, respectively, demonstrated by UV–vis spectroscopy 2 mL UV cuvette. The same configuration catechol modified laponite clay coating containing tyrosinase enzyme. resulting exhibits constant cathodic current at ?0.155 V vs AgCl/Ag, due to reduction ortho-quinone produced enzymatically catechol. acid recorded decrease inhibiting action activity. Reagentless biosensors different deposited quantity (100, 200, 400 600 ?g) were investigated applied inhibitor. best performance obtained ?g-based configuration, namely limit 0.4 sensitivity 228 mA L mol?1. After inhibition process, recover 97–100% their activity towards catechol, confirming reversible

Biomimetic biosensor based on lipidic layers containing tyrosinase and lutetium bisphthalocyanine for the detection of antioxidants.

This paper describes the preparation of a biomimetic Langmuir-Blodgett film of tyrosinase incorporated in a lipidic layer and the use of lutetium bisphthalocyanine as an electron mediator for the voltammetric detection of phenol derivatives, which include one monophenol (vanillic acid), two diphenols (catechol and caffeic acid) and two triphenols (gallic acid and pyrogallol). The first redox pr...

Electrochemical biosensor for catechol using agarose-guar gum entrapped tyrosinase.

An electrochemical biosensor using tyrosinase was constructed for the determination of catechol. The enzyme was extracted from a plant source Amorphophallus companulatus and entrapped in agarose-guar gum composite biopolymer matrix. Catechol was determined by direct reduction of biocatalytically liberated quinone species at -0.1 V versus Ag/AgCl (3M KCl). The response was found to be linear and...

Detection of Benzoic Acid by an Amperometric Inhibitor Biosensor Based on Mushroom Tissue Homogenate

An amperometric benzoic acid-sensing inhibitor biosensor was prepared by immobilizing mushroom (Agaricus bisporus) tissue homogenate on a Clark-type oxygen electrode. The effects of the quantity of mushroom tissue homogenate, the quantity of gelatin and the effect of the crosslinking agent glutaraldehyde percent on the biosensor were studied. The optimum concentration of phenol used as substrat...
